The 0.20.0 update is available!

What’s new: the Bodyguards Legendary Outfits for the SSO RB collection, rebalance of some operators, new cutscenes for the PvP game modes, a big number of fixes and more!

GENERAL CHANGES

  • Added SSO RB Legendary Outfits "Bodyguards".
  • The "Best of the Best", "Welcome Pack" and "Locked & Loaded" bundles were deactivated.
  • The "Fresh Blood" and "Here We Go Again" bundles were added.
  • The "Fog of War" event ended.
  • Added new cutscenes for PvP modes.
  • Added Spanish and Portuguese language support.
  • Reduced the number of Fragments required to level up an operator with Extra XP.
  • Fixed an issue with the Armor Plate reserve use animation, which caused the armor plate to stay in the operator’s hands after replacing it.
  • Fixed an issue with the crouching grenade throw animation used by bots, which caused them to hold the grenade like a rifle.
  • Onslaught Mode: Fixed a bug that prevented an operator from being automatically revived at the start of a new round if they were incapacitated at the same time the last bot was eliminated.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed an eliminated sergeant bot to keep talking if a mine or another droppable item was placed next to them.
  • Fixed an issue with the primary weapon reloading animation that occurred in certain body positions.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed leaving an unfinished battle and entering a new one using the same operator.
  • Fixed a number of visual bugs that could appear when joining the battle in Showdown after playing in Annihilation and Flontline modes.

Frontline Mode:

  • Fixed a bug that sometimes caused a battle to end in a draw when there were still alive operators on the field and the timer hadn’t run out.

Point Sweep, Special Operation and Frontline Modes:

  • Fixed a bug that sometimes allowed bots to throw several grenades in succession.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the English announcer voice to be replaced with radio static.

Ranked Battle Mode:

  • Fixed a bug that allowed activating a Hacking device through walls and cover, as well as from outside of its installation area.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the winning team to receive a Ribbon when winning in Hacking mode instead of Ranked Battle mode.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to occupy the same position in the ranked league leaderboards.

Changed the way the system works when a player doesn’t pick an operator during the battle preparation stage:

  • The first choice is the operator you picked last time.
  • If they are unavailable, the system picks a random operator added to favorites.
  • In no operator is in the favorites list, the system pick any available operator except for Recruit.
  • If there are no available operators on the Account except for Recruits, the system picks a Recruit.

OPERATORS

Recruits

Assault Recruit
  • "RPG-7V2″ special gear: Sprinting is impossible and movement speed is reduced by 25% while the operator is holding the special gear.

VYMPEL

Assault Volk
  • Changed "Iron Grip" ability upgrade #12-2: Removal of Sprint block applied to the operator when ability is activated.
  • Fixed a bug that made the #10-1 upgrade of the "Iron Grip" ability to work incorrectly. Now, when upgraded, the ability inflicts the right amount of headshot damage.
Support Almaz
  • Changed the "Aegis" ability: while the ability is active, the operator receives a Shield that regenerates at the cost of Stamina if the operator hasn’t received damage for a while. Aegis no longer has a duration and can be toggled at any time.

Changed "Aegis" ability upgrades #2-1, #4-1 and #9-1:

  • Upgrades #2-1 and #4-1 reduce the delay before the Shield begins regenerating by 1 second.
  • Upgrade #9-1 increases the Shield durability regeneration caused by the active ability by 2 HP/sec.
  • Fixed a bug that made the #2-1 and #4-1 upgrades of the "Aegis" ability show incorrect parameter changes in the operator customization menu.
Medic Ded

"Healing" Ability:

  • Reduced cooldown from 18 to 10 seconds.
  • Fixed a bug that made the #5-2 operator upgrade work incorrectly. Now, it decreases only received burn damage.

ALPHA

Support Svarog

"Alatyr" Epic Outfit:

  • Fixed a visual bug that caused the previously selected regular camo to be visible while aiming with the secondary weapon instead of the epic camo.
  • Fixed an error in the epic outfit’s description: it can’t be obtained for Fragments.
Marksman Sokol
  • The duration of the "Bullet Rain" ability is now equal to the duration of the Marked negative effect that is applied to the operator while the ability is active.
  • Changed AWSM primary weapon linear upgrade #10: Thermal tape delays the application of the Marked effect by 3.5 sec. when Bullet Rain is used.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the positive effect of "Bullet Rain" to wear off before the ability’s duration has run out.

SSO

Support Sputnik
  • "RPO Shmel" special gear: Sprinting is impossible and movement speed is reduced by 25% while the operator is holding the special gear.

Medic Karavai
  • Fixed a visual error that caused the operator’s arm to be in an incorrect position when using the "Afghan" Legendary Outfit with any other non-legendary weapon camo.

KSK

Support Stern
  • "RGW 90" special gear: Sprinting is impossible and movement speed is reduced by 25% while the operator is holding the special gear.

CST

Assault Sly
  • Fixed a bug that caused the "Impersonation" ability to work incorrectly in PvE and PvPvE modes: bots would attack the operator when replenishing ammo or using an emote while the ability was active.
Support Fortress
  • "Dragon’s Tooth" ability: added a 0.5 second delay before the detonation of the BLU-43 mines.
  • M27 primary weapon: increased recoil by 15%.
  • M45A1 secondary weapon: body hit damage increased from 19 to 27, headshot damage increased from 32 to 55, armor penetration increased from 45% to 50%.
  • Reduced the operator’s HP from 100 to 90.
  • Reduced the operator’s Sprint speed from 4.7 to 4.3.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the BLU-43 mines to hover in mid-air when using the "Dragon’s Tooth" ability next to other map objects.
Medic Bones
  • UMP40 primary weapon: reduced armor penetration from 55% to 50%.
  • M45A1 secondary weapon: body hit damage increased from 19 to 27, headshot damage increased from 32 to 55, armor penetration increased from 45% to 50%.
  • "Buddy robot" special gear: increased durability from 120 HP to 220 HP, increased healing speed from 1.5 HP/sec. to 2 HP/sec.
Marksman Avalanche
  • "Advance" ability: increased cooldown from 20 to 33 sec.
  • "Advance" ability upgrade #12-3: reduced cooldown reduction from −10 to −8 sec.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented operator upgrades #13-1 and #14-1 from working.

TFB

Assault Sterling
  • Fixed an animation issue that caused the operator to turn left when cancelling the self-revival animation from Unfinished Business.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed the operator to self-revive several times in a row when Unfinished Business was activated once.
Marksman Archer
  • M95 primary weapon: increased rate of fire and reload speed by 25% while using a Bipod.

RAID

Assault Avant-garde
  • Vepr-12 primary weapon linear upgrade #10, Longer barrel: Sprint speed is reduced from 0.085 to 0.08 while using the primary weapon.
  • Fixed a visual issue that caused the icons in the operator settings menu to overlap.
  • Fixed a visual issue with the display of the operator’s equipment: Vepr-12 primary weapon wasn’t on the back, and Glock 26 secondary weapon was missing from its holster.
Support Bastion
  • G18C and CX200TL secondary weapons: added increased weapon spread when firing while moving. Significantly increased maximum spread when shooting while aiming, as well as the crosshair tightening speed (the reduction of spread from the maximum to the minimum value).
  • Fixed a bug that caused the "Reflect" ability to trigger when receiving damage from an axe thrown by AMF Assault Starkaðr or a knife thrown by SSO RB Marksman Busel. Now only the damage from bullets is reflected, in accordance with the ability’s description.
  • Fixed a bug that caused visuals from the Shielded effect to be applied to the enemy when shooting them while the "Expanding Bullets" skill was active.

NESHER

Support Hagana
  • Fixed a bug that made the #1-1 operator upgrade show incorrect parameter changes in the operator customization menu.

EZAPAC

Marksman Diablo
  • Fixed a bug that caused "Inferno" active ability upgrade #15-2 to reduce the burning duration while active.
  • Fixed an error in the description of "Inferno" ability upgrade #15-2: headshotting the enemy increases fire damage, not the burn duration. The burn duration extension from the upgrade is provided when hitting any part of the body.

ARYSTAN

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the "Hidden Movement" skill from working for Arystan operators.
Support Tibet
  • CZ-75 primary weapon: reduced rate of fire from 6 to 5 shots per second.
  • CZ-75 and Vant secondary weapon: significantly increased maximum spread when shooting while aiming, as well as the crosshair tightening speed (the reduction of spread from the maximum to the minimum value). Reduced rate of fire reduced from 6 to 5 shots per second, reduced effective range from 15 to 10 meters.

SSO RB

Medic Kaval
  • "Suture" ability: Cooldown reduced from 14 to 10 seconds; self-healing increased from 18 to 23 HP; armor restoration increased from 10 to 30 AP.

AMF

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the "Woodward" Legendary Outfits from being purchased in the game client.
Support Odin
  • "Grg m/48″ special gear: Sprinting is impossible and movement speed is reduced by 25% while the operator is holding the special gear.
Medic Freyr
  • Fixed a visual bug that caused the operator’s arm to be in an incorrect position when using the "Woodward" Legendary Outfit with any non-legendary weapon camo.
Marksman Víðarr

Hunter epic outfit:

  • Fixed a visual bug that caused Ak 417 used as the primary weapon to clip through the operator’s backpack when switching to the Pist 88 secondary weapon or the "Rovdjur" special gear.
  • Fixed a visual bug that caused the previously selected regular camo to be visible while aiming with the secondary weapon instead of the epic camo.

JIAOLONG

  • Fixed a visual bug where Support Yíngzhōu, Medic Yàowáng, and Marksman Cánglóng were surrounded by lightning SFX while the "R&R" skill was active.
Support Yíngzhōu
  • "QLZ-87″ special gear: Sprinting is impossible and movement speed is reduced by 25% while the operator is holding the special gear.

SKILLS

Thermal Coating
  • Operators whose primary weapon is used as a part of secondary weapon skill receive any bonuses from the skill on both weapons.
Precision Rifling
  • Operators whose primary weapon is used as a part of secondary weapon skill receive any bonuses from the skill on both weapons.
Expanding Bullets
  • Operators whose primary weapon is used as a part of secondary weapon skill receive any bonuses from the skill on both weapons.
Tungsten Bullet Coating
  • Operators whose primary weapon is used as a part of secondary weapon skill receive any bonuses from the skill on both weapons.
Hair trigger
  • Operators whose primary weapon is used as a part of secondary weapon skill receive any bonuses from the skill on both weapons.
Heavy Barrel
  • Operators whose primary weapon is used as a part of secondary weapon skill receive any bonuses from the skill on both weapons.
Flat Trajectory
  • Operators whose primary weapon is used as a part of secondary weapon skill receive any bonuses from the skill on both weapons.
Advanced Training
  • Minimum Stamina increased from +100/150/200 SP to +125/200/275 SP.
Enhanced Stimulants
  • Added a 40 sec. cooldown between subsequent skill activations. Increased the Stimulant reserve duration to 4 sec.
R&R
  • The effect resistances applied by the skill are now displayed as icons above the HP bar.
Internal Reserve
  • Stamina recovery increased from 150/200/250 SP to 225/300/375 SP. Skill trigger threshold increased from 50 to 75 SP. Skill duration increased from 3 to 5 seconds.
Stimulant Medications
  • Added a 40 sec. cooldown between subsequent skill activations. Increased the First Aid Kit reserve duration to 4 sec. Increased Stamina recovery from 50/60/80 to 70/105/140.
Lightweight Chest Rig
  • Changed the way the skill works to account for operators’ progress. Before this, the active skill didn’t reduce the primary weapon’s magazines for TFB Support Bishop, and secondary weapon’s magazines for CST Marksman Avalanche. Now, the skill works as intended, but ammo can never go lower than 1 magazine.
Regenerative materials
  • Changed the way the skill works to automatically restore armor up to the nearest segment (20 AP each). The delay before armor restoration is now set at 3 sec. instead of 5/4/3 sec. Extra armor segments that come from abilities (e.g. RAID Medic Velour’s Patch) do not get restored with the skill active.
Self-Treatment
  • Updated skill description to "If the operator’s HP drops below 20/30/40 HP, they start regenerating it up to that value. The operator must not take damage for 5 seconds. Regeneration rate: 2 HP/sec." The previous description failed to provide comprehensive info about its activation conditions.
Counterattack
  • Fixed a bug that caused hits from ally firearms to trigger the skill.

MAPS AND MISSIONS

PROLOGUE

  • Fixed a bug where the chemical light source model from the previous version appeared in the Assault and Medic Prologue storylines.
  • Fixed a number of visual bugs caused by faulty light sources in the first cut scene of the Prologue.
  • Reduced the number of bots appearing in the final part of the Prologue.
  • Fixed a number of bugs related to bot spawning, cover placements, and the behavior of an AI-controlled Medic Monk.
SHOPPING MALL
  • Removed an invisible obstacle from one spot on the map.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the operator’s model to clip through some covers when climbing over them. There were also some issues with the camera.
PvE version
  • Point Sweep mode: fixed an incorrect gunner bot spawn point.

Point Sweep and Special Operation modes:

  • Fixed a bug that caused drones (including buddy drones) to sometimes get stuck if activated by obstacles close to the convoys.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the door opening device to float in mid-air.
  • Fixed a bot behavior bug that caused them to run loops between the first and second floor.

Onslaught mode:

  • Fixed a bug that enabled players to defuse the bomb through the wall.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from defusing one of the bombs.
PvP version

Showdown mode:

  • Fixed a bug that caused drones (including buddy drones) to sometimes get stuck if activated by obstacles close to the convoys.

Frontline Mode:

  • Fixed a bug where Intel could end up in an off-limits area if dropped in certain places. This prevented players from picking it back up.

Point Sweep and Special Operation modes:

  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from jumping off lifting decks at certain positions.

Showdown and Onslaught Modes:

  • Fixed a bug that caused the camera to malfunction close to some walls.

Onslaught mode:

  • Fixed a bug that enabled players to defuse the bomb through the wall.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from climbing over one of the sandbag covers.

Onslaught: Legend Mode:

  • Fixed a bug where the Escort activation range for one of the robots was too big compared to the others in this mode.
PvP version

Showdown mode:

  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from jumping off lifting decks at certain positions.

Annihilation and Showdown Modes:

  • Fixed a bug where jumping down from certain elevated positions caused the operator to drop into the objects underneath.
  • Fixed a bug that caused operators to slowly slip off the stalls on the map and get stuck in them if they were crouching on the edge. Now, operators end up on the ground outside of the stalls instantly.

Annihilation and Ranked Battle Modes:

  • Fixed a bug that caused the camera to malfunction close to some walls.

Annihilation, Ranked Battle, and Showdown Modes:

  • Fixed a bug where players could climb onto one of the high walls without using the "Vault an obstacle" key ([SPACE]).

EMIR RESIDENCE

  • Fixed a number of bugs that caused operators to get stuck when trying to climb onto or off certain objects.
  • Fixed a number of bugs where players were able to get inside the covers. In some cases, this caused operators to get stuck there and be unable to get out.
PvE version

Onslaught mode:

  • Fixed a number of unintended invisible obstacles.

HOSPITAL

  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from mounting bipods on the stand by the central entrance at certain positions.
PvE version

Special Operation Mode:

  • Fixed a bug that caused one of the bots to spawn too late, letting players see it appear.

Onslaught mode:

  • Fixed a bug that sometimes caused operators to get stuck inside a blown-up car if they jumped off of it at a certain angle.

Point Sweep and Special Operation modes:

  • Fixed a bug where player tag ([C]) was displayed incorrectly on an open rolling shutter.

Point Sweep mode:

  • Fixed a visual bug where the Tiger armored vehicle appeared green instead of camo.

Onslaught mode:

  • Fixed a bug that enabled players to defuse the bomb through the wall.

  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to get in one of the covers and get stuck in it when climbing while sprinting.

  • Fixed a bug that made it impossible to pick up ammo from one of the ammo boxes if approaching it from behind.

Ranked Battle Mode:

  • Fixed a bug that allowed jumping down from a boarded-up section of one of the walls.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the visual model of one of the ammo boxes to be misaligned with its collision box.
  • Fixed a bug that made it possible for one of the teams to leave the infiltration area too early if someone climbed up a cover while sprinting.

Ranked Battles and Showdown Modes:

  • Fixed a bug that made it impossible to jump down from several sections of one of the walls.

  • Fixed a number of bugs that caused the operator to fall into various objects when jumping down from them while crouching.
  • Fixed a number of bugs that caused the camera to behave incorrectly next to various objects.

Onslaught Mode:

  • Fixed a bug that caused the operator to clip into one of the boxes and caused the camera to behave incorrectly when climbing over one of the covers.
  • Fixed a number of bugs that allowed jumping into various objects on the map.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the operator’s model to clip into a brick wall when jumping over one of the covers.

INTERFACE

  • Added a new standard HQ Background: Headquarters. The Headquarters background will be set for new players by default, and Caliber veterans will be able to select it the usual way.
  • Added a news banner panel to HQ.
  • Changed the XP display in post-battle statistics: now the total amount of earned XP is shown, and the detailed breakdown can be viewed by hovering over the XP icon.
  • Added a new load screen for Frontline and Annihilation modes.
  • Fixed a bug that caused technical information to be displayed when returning to combat after the last teammate was eliminated.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the players from seeing descriptions of rewards, the level and the upgrades in the Progress tab of after-battle statistics if they switched to Statistics or Achievements and then back to Progress.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the keyboard layout switch to not be displayed in the search bar on the operator settings screen.
  • On the operator selection screen, the player indicators are now hidden for members of one fireteam.
  • Fixed the position of the timer in the Battle Mode window in Special Operation mode.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Tutorial window in the HQ menu to be highlighted as unread even after all tutorial sections have been viewed.
  • Fixed a bug that caused UI to disappear if a player has been eliminated immediately after being revived in Training.
  • Fixed incorrect timer behavior in the stat window [TAB] in all modes.
  • PvP modes: fixed a bug that allowed players to write chat messages while moving and interacting with in-game objects if the chat window wasn’t closed at the end of the round. This also prevented the players from using hotkeys.
  • Fixed a bug that caused an icon of your special gear to appear at the top right of the eliminations screen when an enemy was eliminated by blowing up somebody else’s special gear.
  • Fixed a visual issue that caused the Stamina bar to extend outside of its size when replenishing Stamina with reserves.
  • Onslaught Mode: fixed a visual issue that caused the icons of active upgrades to overlap with the icons of Field Bonuses above the HP bar for some operators.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the revival syringe icon to be displayed when trying to revive a teammate while having no revival syringes.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the notifications on the screen to overlap with the compass when a live player counter appeared.
  • Ranked Battle Mode: fixed a bug that caused the "Item slot occupied" notification to appear on the screen when the player with a Hacking device climbed over a cover or jumped down in the installation area.
  • Fixed a number of visual bugs that caused the bot icons in the eliminations panel to appear in low resolution.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the teammate mic disable button from working while loading some maps in Point Sweep and Special Operation modes.
  • Fixed a visual bug that prevented the reserve slots from appearing red while having no reserves.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a Work in Progress icon to appear at the top right corner of the eliminations screen when an operator was eliminated by a grenadier, marksman or support bot with explosive special gear.
  • Tutorial window: fixed a bug that caused English subtitles for tutorial videos to desync with English voice-over.
  • Fixed a number of bugs related to incorrect subtitle display in tutorial videos.
  • Point Sweep, Special Operation Modes, Al-Rabad: fixed a number of issues related to Russian subtitles not matching Russian voice-over.
  • Fixed a number of issues related to English subtitles not matching English voice-over on Al-Rabad in Point Sweep and Special Operation modes.
  • Fixed localization errors in the operator upgrade window.
  • Fixed incorrect visuals for the RAID: Full Set and Nesher: Full Set emblems.
  • Fixed a bug that showed incorrect level of an allied operator in the HQ if a player switched to a more upgraded operator.

SOUND

  • Fixed incorrect audio when evacuation is completed in Onslaught mode on all maps.
  • Fixed an audio bug that caused cutscene music to continue playing on the load screen when closing Battle Replay in PvP during a cutscene.
  • Added an audio cue when hints appear in the Prologue.

Ranked Battle mode:

  • Added an announcer line when 10 seconds is left until hacking is complete.
  • The countdown timer of the battle preparation stage in infiltration areas was returned.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • SSO RB Collection — Assault Lazootchick, Medic Kaval, Marksman Busel, Bodyguards Legendary Outfits: a number of visual issues that make the silencers of the holsted Walther CCP pistols go through the operators’ legs.
  • An animation bug affecting the left hand of SSO RB Assault Lazootchick in the Bodyguard Legendary Outfit.
  • The completed task icon during battles is being shown incorrectly.
  • The "Enhanced Stimulants" skill functions incorrectly: damage resistance is not increased when upgrading.

KSK Assault Rein:

  • "Dead calm" ability upgrade #14-1 incorrectly lasts for 6 seconds instead of 5.
  • "Dead calm" ability upgrade #14-2 has an incorrect description: rate of fire and duration are not mentioned.
